We offer daily, free conversation groups with a native English speaker for all PELA students!
All PELA students have access to free tutoring with an English teacher, Monday-Thursday in the quiet study lab.

Devon has been teaching English for over 24 years. She has a Masters in English Literature.
She joined PELA in 1997.
Teacher
Dianne has a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences from Linfield College and an RSA Cambridge Certified Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and has taught English since 1996.
She joined PELA in 2005.
Test-Preparation Teacher / Housing Coordinator
Chris holds a B.A. in English Literature and International Politics from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and has a TEFL Certificate.
He joined PELA in 2007.

Ken has a B.A. in Music (with minors in various Foreign Languages) and an M.A. in Music Performance from Musikhochschule Koeln in Cologne, Germany, and a TESOL degree from Trinity College in London, England.
He joined PELA in 2012.
