Portland TOEIC Test Center

What is TOEIC?

The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) assesses the English language proficiency of people who want to work where English is used as the language of communication.

The TOEIC Listening & Reading Test is given at PELA each month (usually on the second Saturday of the month). PELA is the only TOEIC testing center in Portland.

How to Register for the TOEIC Test

You must register by the Online Registration Deadline.

The deadline for registration is 10 days before the test date.

No walk-in registration is permitted.

Where is the TOEIC Test Center at PELA located?

The IELTS Test Center at PELA is located inside the Lloyd Center in Northeast Portland, Oregon. It is on the 3^rd Floor (the top level) in the northwest corner of the Lloyd Center. The suite number is 2007. If you are using a directory inside the Lloyd Center, look for "Portland English Language Academy (PELA)".

To enter the Lloyd Center between 8:30-10:30AM, you MUST enter through the doors at the Top Level of the Halsey Street Garage (located in the NW corner of the Lloyd Center at 9th & Halsey).

Test Day Information

You MUST bring your ORIGINAL PASSPORT or DRIVERS LICENSE to the TOEIC test! Copies of identification cannot be used to check-in on test day.

On test dates, our doors open at 9:45 AM and close at 10:00 AM when the test starts.

Test takers do not need to be enrolled in the Portland English Language Academy in order to take the TOEIC test. The TOEIC test is open to everyone.

Test Results

Results are mailed to students approximately 2 weeks after the test date. Test results are not released over the phone or email. Test results can be mailed overseas for an extra $5 mailing fee.
