As we have written about, PELA recently moved into a brand new location. A picture says a 1,000 words. So we thought it would be fun to take a look at some photos that compare the old space with the new space.
The old space was, well, old. As you can see in the photos below, our new location has a little more space, a little more glass, a little more sunlight.
The new PELA has a little more of everything you would want in a language school, and a little more of everything adds up to one great place to study.
A photo of our old reception work area and our new reception area. In our new reception area, we have a beautiful reclaimed wood and industrial steel reception desk.
Our new sitting area on the right side above has more room to stretch out your legs, get comfortable, and admire our view of the Portland skyline.
A look down our old hallway versus one of our new hallways. In the photo of our new school on the right, our study lab is on the left. Our computer lab is at the end of the hall.
This photo shows our old and new student lounges. Our old student lounge had a couple of seats, a couple of tables, and a fooseball table. Our new student lounge has a living room area, a porch area, a coffee shop-type area, a lounge area, a kitchenette, and, oh yes, a fooseball table. Game on!
Our new study lab is on the right side of the photo above. Still a great place to learn, but now with sunshine!
Our new computer lab features 17 new or updated computers and brand new computer lab furniture.
Most of all, we have comfortable, modern classrooms and great teachers looking forward to helping students perfect their English.
The Portland English Language Academy is proud to present to you our brand new space.
Out with the old, in with the new!
