I love celebrating social and cultural differences in order to establish a healthier, happier planet for our children. Teaching allows me to practice and nurture these values, which therefore makes my work meaningful."

How has your international experience helped your teaching? "I’ve learned about different learning styles and preferences, classroom management, and ways to present new information."
What do you do when you are away from school? "I like cooking, doing yoga, riding my bicycle, playing bass guitar, hiking, building campfires, swimming in rivers, playing rock n’ roll in dingy dive bars late at night, watching vampire movies."
Why do you like Portland? "I love mountains and forests! Portland has a great underground music scene, incredible local culture, and the city is easy to get around in."
Why do you recommend our school to students? "The staff love their work and are very friendly, professional, and kind. We like working together and create an atmosphere of teamwork, excellence, and fun."
